The question is not "could he end up in prison," but "When will he end up in prison?"
What a total moron. Typical though..millions of dollars and these pro athletes throw it all away because of criminal activity.
Michael Vick will get what he deserves...especially now that his "partners" have plea bargained and are going to sing like canaries about Vick's direct involvement in the torture and deaths of those dogs....

I loved watching Vick play, but his career may be over in the NFL, at least for a few years. If you watch reports, it's clear he has a slim chance of walking on this (too many in his entourage have flipped on him).
He's pretty much going down, even though one of his lawyers is advising him to take it to court instead of taking a plea. Even if he takes a plea, the judge is a tough one apparently and he could get the max sentence wise (what ever the range might be).
Let's pretend he goes to trial and gets off, he's still not going to play this year, and in all likelihood Godell will suspend him for next year. If and when he's a free man, he'll end up in the CFL and after blowing up that league (assuming he isn't shattered by this self-inflicted ordeal), Vick will become a Raider (if Al Davis is still alive). People like Vick get lots of second chances, and ultimately I believe if you are one in a million at anything, you deserve it. Lame people get second chances every day.
I wonder how many Bush supporters are Vick haters? I'd bet you a number of them are also PETA nuts. Yes, yes, poor vicious, child -mauling doggies (honestly, poor doggies, I'm not being sarcastic). Poor soldiers, too.

Vick will go down as the most versatile football player in history. He'll be put on trial as a Quarterback, he'll enter prison as a Tight End, and he'll serve his time as a Wide Receiver!

Not only can he, it looks like he will for sure. The US Attorney is not going to let this one slip away. After the latest scandals with the US Attorneys' offices, it's almost impossible for a political figure not to squeeze as much positive press out of this story as possible.
Plus, if he really did do these things, which he'll either have to admit to or face the charges in open court, he absolutely deserves to go to prison.

If he's convicted of the charges then yes, he could go to prison.
I could care less about Vick, but I do think people need to let the legal process play out before they condemn him as a horrible person. We know what he's said to have done, but we don't know if it's the whole story.

Espn says that he is punishable up to 6 years in prison, but will probably get 2 if he pleads guilty.

Looks like he'll likely do a year. Maybe there's a prison football team he can join.
