What are the 5 best restaurants in Baguio?

Criteria includes food quality (60%) and ambience (40%). Note that cost is not a factor in the choice.

1. Rose Bowl in Harrison Road infront of Burnham Park(chinese foods)
2. Solibao Restaurant, at Burnham Park and another branch at Session Road (where you can find Ilokano's pride such as bagnet, pinakbet, pinapaitan and many more local/Filipino foods)
3. Sizzling Plate, many branches in Baguio, the most popular one was in Session Road (this resto chain was originated in baguio city)
4. Don Henrico's (pizza restaurant originated in baguio)
5. Retos restaurant at DPWH compound (where they serve the native Igorot chicken menu called 'Pinikpikan'. They also serve a variety of local/Filipino dishes)
6. those food stalls at Baguio slaughter house. There you can taste the best roasted pork in town plus native delicacies like pinapaitan, bulalong beef knuckles and the popular 'half-half'.

I live in Baguio for many years so trust me, it (the above-mentioned restaurants/food stall) got your moneys worth.

The stalls in Slaughter House have real good food, although not so good in ambience. (Along Magsaysay Ave.)

The restaurant on the top floor of Porta Vaga Mall (I'm sorry i forgot the name:() (Upper Session Road)

4. Eve's Garden - Lamtang Road - finding it is an adventure in itself and definitely worth the trip with 10 varieties of organic lettuce freshly picked from Evelyn Bond's garden. By reservation only, Set meals cost php550.***

5. Little John's - Camp John Hay - a place as happy and bright as Jonet Flavier, where kids get to color on the menu while waiting for the food. Must try their chocolate fondue with strawberries, banana and marshmallows. Avg check php200

6. O'Mai Khan - Otek Street - the old favorite Mongolian barbecue place with lots of crisp highland veggies. Avg check php270

7. Palizzata - Porta Vaga - a quaint little Bistro with a great view of Session Road. Their Tandoori chicken is a personal favorite. Avg check php300.

8. Pizza Riccio - Governor Pack - you must try Bob's fantastic lasagna. All I can say is that I can eat his pizzas everyday. With delivery service up to 11pm. 14 inch pizza is about php350

9. Pizza Volante - Session Road - with 24 hours dine-in and delivery service. Great pizzas and pasta at very good prices. A 14-inch pizza will cost about php360***

10. Rito's - Marcos Highway & DPWH Compound- cheap bulalo and crispy pata. Softdrinks in liter bottles available too. Avg check php150

11. Rose Bowl - Harrison Road - One of two great Chinese restaurants with family-style service. Avg check php200***

12. Star Cafe - Session Road - The other great Chinese restaurant famous for their Star Rice and Joey Rufino's personalized service. Avg check php200***

And you really must try the Slaughter Compound (although lacking in ambiance). I love the early morning bulalo and imbaliktad (turnover) or half-half. I wonder why Yeman did not mention Sagada Lunch.
