Wireless company said we either let them trim our trees at their expense so they can have a signal at the next town over or they will move their antennae and we get no wireless. Then told the tree trimmers to down any trees in the way of their signal on our property basically without our permission, and we have to deal with at least three downed 20+ foot tall cottonwoods on our own. Do we have any rights?

You have the right to grow more bigger trees. I bet you can get those cottonwoods to be over 20' in a couple years.

Yes, I think you could sue the company for any damages. Perhaps try and press criminal tresspass and vandalism charges. You should look into any and all possibilities.
Then try to get free service for life.

And plant more trees. And then more! Make it so they will have to constantly waste money cutting trrees. They will never win.

No they can't without a court order claiming a legitimate public interest (not just because they want to make more money). But if you "let them" do it without saying a word it's gonna be hard to prove they didn't have your "silent consent" ; you should have say no and order them out of your property or call the police. And if the go and cut your Internet you could had sue them for blackmail and harassment illegal tactics.

They were just probably bluffing about moving their antenna, but even so that was their problem not yours; all the guy wanted was to scare you into thinking they had the right to do that.

Only the government can do what they did; private companies are supposed to talk to you and ask consent or pay you if they want to cut your trees.

You can still try to sue them, and file charges for trespassing. Also try contacting the high management of that company, maybe they are not aware of the ticks and lies used by his employees, so at least you could get thiose guys fired.

for other situations, here people have gotten together and taken companies to court with a petition and won their case. Do you want the trees or the wireless though? Do you really need wireless? I don't.

They can't simply cut down the trees and leave them for you to clean up. Contact your city attorney. That may be all you have to do but if he/she doesn't want to intercede on your behalf you can at least find out the supported recourse.
