I know it's connected properly. I've tried everything. Any suggestions? It's a Discovery DMS-4102. It's a simple camera but it's giving me a huge headache.

First try an aspirin for your headache and then check the listing under Device Manager for any problems with either the webcam or the usb ports. Make sure the drivers are installed and working properly for both the webcam and the usb port. For any software missing or updates go to the website of your device and search in the support section usually under downloads or softwares

Maybe something is wrong with your USB port, try using a different one. And if the Cam did not come with a disc, I would check the website for software that is offered for download.
