This is a loaded question.

God has a judgment planned for those that know him and refuse to abide by his will. He has a judgment planned for those that do not believe he exists. Even though they don't believe it. It is a fact and their belief's will not change God's plans.

There is so much evidence that he exists, that there is no reason not to believe in him, at least as a creator.

But there are reasons someone may not believe in God. But learning about him, whether you want to believe or not is imperative.

Those that live in countries or era's where no knowledge of God exixted, God will not judge them, he will give them a chance to get to know him. After he has ressurected them.

God is a god of love, he wants all to repents and live forever. But most people do not care and either chose what to obey or not believe in him. (2 Peter 3:9)

If God exists (and since you used a capital G that can only refer to the Christian god), and a person does not believe in him, then they would go to hell when they die. Of course, you can still believe in God and go to hell; it is said that even the demons believe in God (and tremble at the thought). From the Christian perspective, one must accept the salvation of Jesus. Therefore, non-belief in God also prevents a personal relationship with God, which many Christians find to be quite an experience. If God does exist, then the non-believers are missing out on... well, the meaning of life, the universe, and everything (42!).

On the other hand, if God does not exist, then nothing happens per say. Their life may or may not be more "complete" than someone who falsely believes.

The question then is if God exists, which is another matter entirely.

Since religion was made up by humankind and there are a number of them, which god are you speaking of? The Christian god is different than say, Baal or Buddha. We as a species evidently need something greater than ourselves and throughout history we have worshiped some greater, all powerful being. Most of us worship in one way or another, even the agnostic.

I guess what I'm trying to say is nothing happens except the person might miss out on some of the closeness one can experience from the rituals observed in the various religions. In my opinion.

Nothing at all

We are all here on a journey through life to have the experience just because we believe or not believe something do you think that will make a difference

I would be more worried about people that live in fear of going to hell then people that don't believe in God think about it I am sure you will agree : )

It depends on your belief. I will not convince you to change your religion, but here is what I believe:

Im Christian, and sometimes I have my doubts, Im only 12, so this bothers me. I havent been to church, I guess my family just kind of misses the old 1 in my hometown, and we are no longer there.

Unfortunately I HAD to ask the question to my Dad: So, if I believe in God, I go to Heaven? Since he had told me that that was true. And then he told me as a child, that is what children should believe. He said at 1 point in your life, it changes, and to get into Heaven, you must believe Jesus died for you. So now I get to worry about both things haha. I dont think that sinning will send you to Hell, will it? I dont think so, because everybody sins. Hell scares me, just thinking of it, and I feel bad for my Dad's Mom. She is 90 years old and doesnt believe in God. My Dad is a Christian and feels bad to know that he will not see his Mother or Father in Heaven, since they both have no religion or belief. I think she secretly believes in God, she only sacraficed her religion in the first place because the agreement was, when she married, she would give up her religion. For example, 1 time in the car, she stated "I dont understand why people get tattoos, why cant they just stay the way God made them?" everybody in the car went silent, and I dont think she realized what she had said was actually what she says she doesnt believe in.

Hi,
The same thing happens to everyone, whether they believe in a god or not.
We all end in the ground as a party for the worms.

But saying that, as long as those that love us remember us, we will always live on.

according to me people who don't believe in God just take pride in themselves by saying these words.every person either conciously or subconciously knows that there is a power up there who holds the reins to everything in this universe. How does one explain the revolution of the planets in the universe, the rising of the sun eveyday only in the morning at a particular time or the setting of the same. Although time could vary by a few mins or so.but it ne'er sets in the afternoon.or for that matter the circle of life and death.Just to show to the other mortels that they are the carefree types do they go around claiming that they do not believe in the almighty. But sooner or later in life one does get a taste of His powers and slowly begin to believe in him. Cause in state of distress the first words that one utters is "O God".but then He is too sweet to actually force people to believe in Him. To each his own.

Extreme Christians and Muslims say they are sent to Hell and tortured in the most gruesome ways for all eternity. These people believe in a cold-hearted, cruel God.

I guess you are another of the Mono-atheists that believe in the singular, no name, God.......May the Gods and Goddesses have mercy on your the poor soul. If you wish you can easily become friend and worshiper of one or more of the Gods and Goddesses that will give you a true name to call them by in prayer and praise.
