Ok so I dont know how many of you have read my past posts, but I got AF on Sunday. So there goes another wasted month. Anyways I have always been irregular so any suggestions on what I can do to try and be more successful at TTC? Also, can you have one child and then when you start trying again it seems that you can not get preg. Can infertility be the cause, but was not an issue before. Please I am really trying to conceive by next month, any suggestions would really help!!!

➔ Trying to Conceive
I had a baby in 03, miscarried twins in 05, have never used any type of protection since and nothing has happened. We have been trying since May.

There is a such thing as second hand inferitility (I think that is what it is called). It is when a woman can get pregnant and have a baby once but then have a hard time the next time. The body just stops ovulating or has trouble ovulating. When TTC for atleast a year it is always best to work with a Dr. If you can get a regular cycle going with the help of a Dr it will help you learn more about when you might ovulate and the Dr can even try to help with that. Good luck.

Just keep your head up, I no how you feel, but just that I never conceive a child before, I have PCOS and I am still ttc my first child for almost 5 years now, it is a little frustrating but just hang in there and the miracle would happen to you,

Good luck girl, never give up! Keep trying and enjoy it. Do you have a monitor? I was on my third month and gave up. I remembered I hadn't gotten my AF and the day was already there. Now I'm 9 days late. So just keep trying and when you least expect it..it's gonna happen.

This month we really did not think about it and i think we might have been successful i will find out next week. anyways have you charted your cycle?have you tried ovulation kits?have you went to the ob/gyn?they always say after a year and no luck you need to make sure!!it might not be you but your partner!!!!just relax and i wish you the best of luck and baby dust your way!!!!

Every month I tell myself...THIS IS THE MONTH... I need to get pregnant this month and it TOTALLY stresses me out! I become super depressed when I'm not preggo. So I guess the only thing I can say to help you is ....try not to give yourself a limit...like I must be pregnant by Christmas. I know easier said than done. Best of luck to u.

I'm going through a similar situation. It's called secondary infertility, and it's really difficult, especially when people like "bikini babe" say to chill out since you've had a baby before. I would go to your doctor and discuss your options.

Hi, Please try not to get frustrated. I have been trying to concieve since December and still no luck. I am young and have already had one child and had no problems. Have you tried ovulation predictor kits or asked your doctor about clomid? I am on my third cycle and hopinig this is my month. Kelly

I would suggest the doctor. I feel your pain though. Getting all excited only to see that your test is negative is really heartbreaking. Good luck!

you had a baby? chill-your bod isn't ready to do it again-unless your child is 15 and you are 40 in which case I'd see a specialist. If you are reasonably young, healthy and have had a baby then relax-the next month timetable should be chucked out the window.
