Womb Envy
"a term coined by Karen Horney, is the neo-Freudian feminist equivalent of penis envy. Horney states that it is the unexpressed anxiety felt by some men over women's ability to give birth, leading them to dominate women or driving them to succeed in order for their names to live on.[1] Horney claims that men experience womb envy more powerfully than women experience penis envy because 'men need to disparage women more than women need to disparage men'.[2]"

qualities like large hips and breasts are signs of a good breeder. so naturally your body tells you to breed with such women and therefor give your young the best chance possible for a good life. if hips appeal to you it just means that for some reason that trait is important to you. some scientists think that that may mean your family line has weak hips so your body is trying to make up for it in your offspring's genetic matirial. however that train of thought is highly questionable.

scientific explanation? Nothing deeper than you want to mate with them. I am attracted to men's waist lines too for the same reason. now if i was homosexual and attracted to men's waist lines or heterosexual and attracted to women's hips, then THAT would need a scientific explanation

A ratio of around 0.7 (0.67 specifically) of hip to waist has been documented by scientists to be visible in most women that men find attractive. This may be due to the fact that women with a waist to hip ratio of that are thought of by men to handle childbirth more easily and are more fertile.

in my psych class my teacher told us men are attracted to women with nice hips because it shows they can bear a child and mens goals in life is to spread their seed and a woman with nice hips can fulfill our childbearing needs so they are more attractive to us rather than someone without nice hips!
