VIDEO TAPE...get a camera and hide it so that you can have proof when in court...I would no child has to hurt if we can stop it...

There don't need to be witnesses if the child is willing to talk to the police.
They will initiate an investigation. She however may need to have a rape kit done which can be pretty traumatic.
If you are this kid's Mum or carer then you need to let her know that you support her all the way, no matter what the outcome.

Take pictures of the bruises and report it to the police. If you can't get that proof just call Child Protective Services and tell them what you know.

They would believe the child children don't lie about those type of things. Take the child to the child protection agency they will investigate it.

I myself am abused and recently went to the police. I had no witnesses and the police acted on my behalf. No one ever questioned me. If a child says they are abused, They aren't lying. The police will act on it wether there are witnessesor not.

at 12 you are legally alowed to testify on your behalf as long as they no right and wrong... take pictures of bruises and make sure you label the dates to show how often these bruises appear
