and its my favourite because, its written so well, and reminds me of some stories and books i read.

Just to offer one, one that comes to mind right away, for some reason, is a few lyrics from the theme song of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original movie, I think Gene Wilder sings it in the movie). It is my favorite (or, at least one of my favorites) because it shows how you can get away from the drudgery of the day to day world. It is, like the lyric from another song, a "Sweet Escape" :
"Come with me, and you'll be, in a land of pure imagination,
Living there, you'll be free, if you truly wish to be."
and
"There is no life I know that compares with pure imagination."
etc..., etc....
There are so many that I would consider among my favorite, I don't know how I could possibly choose just one. There's one thing in common with all my favorite lyrics, and that is the fact that they are all inspirational in some way.
I like most all genres of music, so I could list favorite lyrics from any of them here, except maybe some of my heavy metal favorites. ;)

Me and my hubby fool around all the time, i told him once that i'm going to leave him when im tired of having sex with him and ive cleaned the bank account out. His comeback was to sing a verse from the song laid by James and we both laughed so much... was a nice little moment we reflect on when things get a little down and it always makes us laugh because it really is a true account of what i would be like without him...it seems he knows me well.

It's a song by Wakefield. I don't know if it's my favorite ever, but it's my favorite one while in traffic on the way to work because sometimes I can REALLY relate.
