I'm not one for trends. So, I'm not crazy about all of these "new" and "hip" names like, Jordan, Caleb, Taylor, Gavin.

I mean, they are great names and really cute. Just not for my kid. I want something really classic. Just my personality.

What are some classic names for both genders. I'm talking Michaels and Elizabeths, etc.

I love Classic names. I agree about the trends, i'm not into them either. All those name will sound terrible dated in 10 years just like all the Jennifers in the 70's and Jessica's in the 80's. Classic name never go out of style. I love both Elizabeth and Michael! Other ideas...

I prefer to make names a little individual than the classic names because everyone is different and should have a little something special or unique to their name. My name is Katie and I sometimes wish I had a more unique name that had something different about it.
