It seems people like Al Sharpton Jesse Jackson and Hillary always answer their questions with a NON answer. They never answer a direct question, just re direct and continue on about something else. More people are doing this in my personal relationships as well. Are we all lemmings following these sleezeball politicos?

well politicians have always been full of crap regardless of their affiliation. in order to be elected you have to tell people what they want to hear. if u look at elections in the past the smart well informed guy with an opinion doesn't last, why? because they need to have a broad appeal and a strong voice, even if that voice makes no sense when under scrutiny. as for everyday people this world has become pretty crazy and sometimes its hard to read people, i hate to say it but it is dog eat dog. and while we may want to be honest and direct that doesn't always give us the best advantage in life. ex. at work, you lie to your boss, you beat around the answer or you tell them what they want to hear, maybe not all the time but certainly sometimes. it just has to be done. though i don't think that should apply in personal relationships, the people i really care about i am straight with always, if i don't like you, i will sugar coat it, but for my real friends i know they can handle the truth. perhaps you should reevaluate how close u are to these people, confront them on their shadiness, if they are good friends they will be honest and stick by u.

because that's how they avoid answering a question that they can't answer.

when they redirect to another topic, they're trying to draw the attention away from the original question. but if the asker persists, they get defensive and confrontational.

al sharpton was once asked why he is going after don imus like a rapid dog over a mere offensive remark when al's words got people killed.

he redirected the question back to slavery and racism to avoid answering. he knew the asker was right but to answer him would make al look like a fool.

This whole "put a spin on it that leads to another question" is how these politicians avoid subjects that won't further their political careers.

It also circumvents them from having to make an APOLOGY.

Sharpton, a man of God? LOL LOL LOL

Controversy is looked down in today's world, however it's the only way to change something wrong, and I guess we're screwed?

They don't want to seem racist or anti-anything because they want a better chance at office, and want more people to like them.

They've done that since the beginning. I bet if you were a politician you would have your reasons for holding back some answers as well.

I note that you only mentioned Democrats. Surely you don't imply that Republicans who cheat on their wives with gay prostitutes while yelling and screaming about protecting family values are less full of it?
