yes of course there are....think of the amount of murders that you hear about and the amount of people that you hear about have been imprisoned for being found guilty of murder.
It is also harder to catch the murderer because
a) they try harder to escape because they know that if caught there will be a huge punishment
and b) you have to find LOTS of sufficient evidence to charge a person for murder because if you stuff up an innocent person would have been imprisoned for a very long time for something they didn't do - so basically not many people are charged with murder because it is such a long sentence time that they can't make a mistake in who they send to jail.
Hopefully this helped :)

Not only do they get away with it, they all seem to be living in Detroit. No one blinks an eye here anymore if there's a dead body on the sidewalk from a gunshot wound or a stabbing wound. It's sad, really. Where is the respect for human life?

Yes, just take the preacher's wife in Tennessee who killed her husband and only spent 2 months in prison for good behavior. That's so wrong and YES people do get away with murder.

way to many! ever heard about war?? BANG! BANG! YOU'RE DEAD! what was the point of living??
*City of the dammend* (Jesus of Surburbia)
At the center of the earth in the parking lot, of the 7-ll where i was taught, the motto was just a lie! it says home is where the heart is, but what a shame, cause it's beating out of time!
City of the dead, at the end of another lost highway
Signs misleading to nowhere
City of the dammned, lost childern with dirty faces today, no one really seems to care
I read the graffitti in the bathroom stalls, like the holly scriptures of a shoping mall, and so it seemed to confess
it didn't say much, but it only confirmed that the center of the earth is the end of the world, and I COULD REALLY CARELESS!!

Just some thoughts...No one can control the consequences of sin no matter if they believe in God or not. "The eyes of the LORD are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good."Proverbs 15:3
"Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account." Hebrews 4:13
"All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord." Proverbs 16:2
"The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished." Proverbs 16:5
O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD. Psalm 139:1-4
"The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in men who are truthful." Proverbs 12:22
If anyone wishes to revenge let it go and give it to the Lord...
"Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord." Romans 12:19
Whoever thinks they are getting away with murder or anything else... they need to confess their sins to God and truly repent.
So, no, one gets away with murder.

of course. The way our society is going now, everything is so backward, a murderer can get up to 5-10 years while a bank robber or drug dealer gets life in jail. Its ridiculous. But theres really not much what we could do, except leave everything in God's hands.

No doubt about it. I know of one person whose gotten away with it six times (at least). I've never met him, and I don't even know his name, but he was my late uncle's girlfriend's ex-husband. When I worked for the Illinois Dept. of Corrections, there were a lot of murderers who plea'd down to Aggravated Battery. They may not have even been guilty.

Yes, there are MANY that get away with it. I have a family member that did, I even told on his and nobody paid attention to much, now that he's dead, guess what? Yeah, they finally proved it! They came to me to tell me what they NOW know, I told them to get lost. They didn't want to listen to me then, I want to hear nothing now. He's dead, what can they do now? Nothing. He got away with it, 2 people that I knew of. The Judicial system sucks.
