Gee golly, I do I wonder why this is. Is it, could it be that our government wants us to be cheep slave labor so the big rich politicians can keep the big rich corporations going which they own or have personal interests in and they stopped caring about us little folk that can not feed our families or loose our houses. Do you take us all for fools apparently the government does.

Yes we do. We work hard and with the prices of groceries, gas, housing and services always rising, it is of great concern wages don't go up. Those who don't seem to mind already have large amounts of capital already invested. We don't have investments because our pay is used for living expenses. The American dream seems to be attainable if you are born into a wealthy family or are willing to deal in illegitimate trade. Prospering by making a honest living seems unattainable ay this time. So all we do is hope to break even. No wonder markets are crumbling, it is like the 70's all over again. Recession, inflation, unemployment, all undermining the American way of life.

Depends on what you mean by make ends meet...I do just fine without the luxury of a cell phone or going out every weekend for movies and dinner.
And I own 2 trucks one for the wife and one for the me...and own 10 acres free and clear.
The only luxury I have is paying for a dsl line and cable.....I get a car from my company a gas card and a laptop...I'm happy.
And I don't have credit cards...if I need It I'll pay cash...makes you appreciate it more.
But I think your problem is like alot of kids is they go to college thinking they will find a job...but the education they have doesn't fit any positions...you need to see if your college education can be used and aplly for those jobs that it can be used in.

Think about this. Every corporation is cutting back saying they need to make more and spend less. CEO's are getting multi-million dollar bonuses and us people at the bottom are only getting a 3.9% raise every year. I s that really enough to cover rising inflation, gas and even food is getting to expensive to buy at the grocery store. Some weeks I spend less eating out than I do eating at home. I am in the same exact boat myself, as you. I have a college education and can't find a decent job. Had to find a part-time job to make ends meet and nopw that is not even cutting it.

Don't be in a hurry to get rich quick.
It leads to all sorts of problems.
Find what you like to do, do it well and develop your skills.
Realize our lives and society are changing at a pace that is far more rapid than any experienced by earlier generations.
Never fear change, it is a fact of life.
As you develop skills, you will earn more until you have everything you NEED if you are patient and don't throw away your earnings paying high interest rates because you were too impatient to wait until you could afford what you want.
NEVER be satisfied doing repeatitive work. If you make a robot out of yourself, sooner or later you WILL be replaced by a robot.
Computers can't think. Do jobs that require thinking.
