im about 7 weeks almost 8 weeks pregnant.. and on sunday night i cut my knuckle.. and then monday i had to get stitches.. did this hurt the baby at all since i had an injury? or am i fine?

your fine it was a injury to your hand not your tummy

Your good to go. Get some pregnancy books to help ease your mind like "What To Expect When You're Expecting". It will answer a lot of your questions. An injury to your finger is harmless to your little one. Get used to injuring body parts. Once I hit five months, my balance became way off and I started falling all the time. My hands and knees have taken multiple beatings. As a matter of fact, right now both of my knees are scraped up from falling on concrete. Just be careful your stomach doesn't absorb any of the shock. As you research, you'll learn how well cushioned they are in there.

To injure your baby, you're going to have to receive an injury to your abdomen hard enough to cause internal injuries.
Temporarily elevated blood pressure is not going to harm the baby, either. Stress, panic attacks, even the stomach flu... none of these will hurt the baby. Only prolonged, dangerously high blood pressure places any risk on the baby.

No your blood pressure probably was fine hun. The nurse at the hospital the other day made me so upset that I broke down in tears she yelled at me for missing my non stress appointment and told me a story about a woman who missed her appointment and her husband locked her in a dog cage and would pee on her. I was so histerical and when I am pregnant I get emotional. And she took my blood pressure right after wards and she said better then what I thought. Actually it was great. So don't worry...

Honey you are just fine. Kick back and quit worrying. You can even get another cut and you'll be fine - I promise! - I had 3 healthy babies and even had a wreck with one! But now if you have any injuries such as hard fall or wreck you do need to be seen by your doctor.

Youre fine as long as you told the person that did your stitches that you are early in your pregnancy!! Relax!! You will be fine!!

Wow, you sound just like me during my first pregnancy. Believe me, you don't have anything to worry about. That baby had no clue what happened to Mama....he/she will keep growing and thriving! Take care of yourself!
