Cremated: I believe that the process of leaving this earth is a part of dieing and choices. I prefer to be Cremated because your family is going through a bad time as you go through this and the long drawn out experience of the displaying of your body, forces them to relive your life. Seems this is when they only remember the good times. But, they cry and cry over you when all along, it's suppose to be a happy time. You are going to meet your maker and there will never be another bill, tooth ache, nagging person in your ear, being told what you can or cannot do, etc..........I'm going to enjoy that trip when its my turn. But it all boils down to............cremation is a lot less painful for your loved ones when you go..........you already have peace.........you're dead.

I think I would like to be buried. I do have issues and all with the fact that I may just have a coffin that is not very good and bugs can get in. As far as cremation goes I would not. I really do not have a reason for why not. I understand people can have the ashes spread someplace they liked. My luck they would not want to do that. I would be sitting in someones closet. lol

If I die on natural death I want to be buried immediately without being embalm. In that way I could be a good soil fertilizer after undergoing the natural process of decomposition. I don’t like being embalmed because it could pollute the environment as embalming fluids could contaminate the groundwater with mercury, arsenic and formaldehyde.
I don’t like to be cremated because on the process it emits Chloroflourocarbons (CFCs) and Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in the air that could cause ozone depletion.

That depends on how I'm buried. A cardboard box burial would be ideal so I can quickly assimilate into Earth again. But I wouldn't be caught dead (haha) in one of those metal caskets! I would have to choose cremation over that so not to hog precious resources.

I want to be cremated.
My Reason: It started because of a "Tales from the Crypt" episode I saw 20 years ago. It scared the sh*t out of me.
This man dies and gets trapped in his body. He can still feel pain but can't do anything to stop an autopsy being done on him. No one knows he's still there; he can't find any way to escape.
I was once dying on an operating table, and I couldn't leave my body like I wanted to. That could have something to do with the fact that I wasn't meant to die that day.
But I'm not taking any chances.

it depends. if land scarce, wh is usu the case, cremation is better. after a few yrs no one visit the graves. usu left abandoned esp if family moves away etc. nowadays they have lawn graves in certain countries where the ashes are being buried instead of being placed in a columbarium. its kinda cute, man! or maybe medical science to further our thirst for knowledge and to advance humanity to a greater civilization wld be a good option too

would like to be in a mausoleum but this is tornado country and a cemetery near my aunt had bones scattered around after a tornado about 20 years ago. reason: I don't want anyone monkeying around with my DNA after I'm dead.and people in mausoleums, i think, are cemented in. And burning my bones is a leftover from old Christian beliefs that Christians shouldn't be cremated. don't want to be in the ground either.
