I'm 16 and haven't had a period in 4 months, and I want to keep it that way. I got like this because I have a low body weight (98 pounds) and I work out every day. I have band camp coming up and I DO NOT want my period then. How do I keep it from coming back? (should I just continue with what I've been doing or have the past 4 months been a fluke?)

That is one of your options, if you have low body weight (no fat) you will stop bleeding. This happens to a lot of women athletes but once they stop training & increase their weight, their menses will return.

i remember band camp!!!!!! i just graduated and i missed it so much this year because we used to go to beaver's bend oklahoma and wow was it beautiful!!!!! As for your period not coming back...i know that periods suck and all but it is actually not good for your body to not release a monthly period. It can lead to some problems later on. Does your mom know that you have not had a period in awhile???

Tbh You shud wear dark pants and sit on a dark clothing while sittin down at band camp incase you have serious problems them white pants = :S
also just relax adn get back to normal routine

You can't stop it from coming back. Because you have a low weight and are active you have irregular periods. But it will come... :/ sorry... just be prepared

sara eat lemon before ur period date it will be delayed 2 days or sumthing like that try it

why do you want to stop them for your only young so go with the flow an see your doctor
