I believe that around here (I live in Oklahoma) there is an age limit. I don't think they will let you enroll in high school at the age of 19 or 20. As to the "back to school" that means taking GED classes (high school diploma equivalent), Vocational-Technical School, or college as an older adult.

you can still get a high school diploma, but every high school i've ever been to had the older people do seperate classes at night or over the internet- not with the other kids. if you wanted to be with the other kids you could try and ask for an exception though, since i knew a 20-year-old in high school who had been held back. of course, you may have to pass placement tests then.

The age limit for high school is 20 years old in the US. But why would you want to do that a brilliant experience? I don't think so. Our college level is your high school level. You would be very bored.

No, 20 year olds cannot go back to high school here in America. They CAN take college classes at the college and get their high school degree (GED, as it is called here).

in illinois the limit is 21 then you must attend adult GED classes/night. I'm currently 17 year old freshman because of health reasons as well. You just have to get special permission from the Super intendant.

In the States, the enrollment criteria varies from school district to school district. Google ______ public schools, with the name of a city or state in the blank. Contact a promising district or school and ask them your question.

They'll let about anyone in school these days. It's almost impossible to be asked to LEAVE. I guess it would depend on whether you'd be going to public or private school. You may even get right into college if you test well.
