Has anyone else ever done it? If not would you ever consider trying it? It's really fun and exciting to go somewhere like that without shoes on since everyone else wears shoes.

I've gone barefoot in every mall, store, restaurant I've been for more than ten years; contrary to common myths in the US, it's NOT dangerous, or gross to do so. Our skin is made to keep pathogens out, feet get very tough very quickly so injury is unlikely, and they're fully washable. Nor are there any laws requiring shoes; the Health Department has NO laws against going barefoot, insurance companies don't require or even recommend footwear for customers, and there are NO laws against driving barefoot. Stores can set their own dress code, and in the US 'no shoes, no shirt, no service' signs are common so it may seem at times that 'all stores' require footwear, however this turns out not to be true either. If you shop around a little you'll find many places just don't care what you wear on your feet. In other countries it's rare to find a store that has such a policy at all; I've never seen a NSNSNS sign here in the Netherlands, nor on my trips to Belgium & Scotland.

Honey, you need to get some hobbies.
Ever stepped in a puddle at the mall? In or out of the restroom?
Ever stepped on a piece of glass/a tack/ a sharp piece of metal?
This is not the best idea - it also sounds potentially painful.
