well depends on if theres a problem or not .. for starters its a vista machine with a 5400 rpm harddrive wich isnt the slowest in the world but not the fastest either ..

Windows Vista is slow... .try toning down the graphical interface to get better performance. In Windows Vista, go to the Control Panel and have a look around

Depending on how much software you loaded after you got it some of you disk space may be fragmented. Even adding two or three programs can cause this to happen since they use temp disk space to load. Go to start - programs - accessories -system tools and do a disk cleanup and then a disk defrag.
