The privacy is good. I don't understand why everyone is complaining about molesters... the only reason you would be caught with molesters is because you are simply an idiot. You can set your profile to private, you dont need a default picture, you can set it that people can't message you and you can set it so that people have to know your email or last name.

yes i think myspace should have more privacy...
because of the fact people do tend to right personal things about another.. how they feel if there attracted to the other and people do not understand what is going on.. but also i do believe people should find better ways on talking to people than on myspace...
my daughter has a myspace and she shows me her page. i don't ask her to she thinks its a good idea for her mother to see what she is doing.

If you are concerned abut privacy then do not put anything on my space.

In fact a good rule to go by is: if you don't want something published on the front page of your local paper, do not put it on the web at all.

My spaces is known for it's lax security. That is how they function and why they are so popular.

I have never had an account there and will never have one. And I do not visit people on their site.

If you feel MySpace doesn't give you enough privacy, you shouldn't use it.

I don't think so..

I would sure hope they cut down on all the scam accounts that get made up after 9pm EVERY nite... for Webcam chicks 18+ adult stuff....
I can't be the only one that sees all the fake accounts

I think it's more important to force Google to have better privacy practices.

That's one of many things they need to improve. So no, their privacy is nothing to write home about.

You can already set it to private, and if you don't want someone to see your page they can't. And you don't have to put any information on the page or anything.
