Would u hav rather had Ozzy stay with Sabbath and crank out the hits. Or are u glad he broke free and tested the waters. For me I go Ozzy solo. What about u. 10pts goes to best answer not siding with me. true answers. thanks.

A lot of my friends think I'm nuts, but even though I love Black Sabbath, I think Ozzy's solo career was much more solid. Sabbath songs seem to be hit or miss, but the majority of Ozzy's solo stuff is great I think. Not to mention, I think Randy Rhoads or Zakk Wylde could play circles around Tony Iommi.

Ozzy was good in both, but he stayed solo too long. In terms of all around musicianship, and consistancy, Solo Ozzy has 2 truely good albums solo (Blizzard of Ozz and Bark at the Moon) and he would've continued to produce good albums, but Guitar God Randy Rhoads died. Black Sabbath, on the other hand, Continued to have hit records not only in the 70's, but had a whole carrer in the 80's. Ozzy broke free, and that was a good thing, (because we got more exposure to DIO!) but after Randy died he should have gone back with the boys in sabbath. By the time Randy died, ozzy could'nt put out the hits and neither could sabbath, since they were abandoned again. They should have gotten back together, but they didnt. To put it simply, Ozzy's solo carrer wasn't going to last, and sabbath wasnt either. Thats why Ozzy is better as a unit with Tony Iommi Geezer Butler and Bill Ward.

Ozzy with Sabbath. Sabbath was awesome with Ozzy with Dio and the other lead singers it sucked.

i cant really decide so i say both. Sabbath and Ozzy put out some of the most influential music in Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Music.

Well, I prefer him with Black Sabbath. When I seen him and Black Sabbath back together, it seemed like Ozzy came to life again. That's one way that I can explain it.
My favorite solo stuff of his was when Randy was his guitar player. I can't stand Zakk. In most of his guitar playing there is this little squealing sound I hear that makes me want to kill him.

I don't care if Ozzy sings with Sabbath, Lita Ford, or just me, I love him doing whatever he wants to do. He's really a cool person just to hang out with to. He even sings with Elton John, and its really cool, I like metal though, but Ozzy would make eminem rock!

I would say ozzy solo he came out with some awesome songs after he left not saying he wouldnt of if he had of stayed with sabbath but yeah i love his solo stuff better.........

Black Sabbath! The greatest rock band of all time! Ozzy is good by himself but Sabbath gave me a chill up my spine the first time I heard them.

Now Eric...c'mon is this really even fair? How can anyone decide?
I mean I LOVE Ozzy...hes is my FAVORITE artist EVER - from Snowblind to Bark at the moon to I don't wanna stop....to Close my eyes forever with Lita Ford....how does one decide?!?!?
