I doubt very much that he would have any say over what time I went to bed during the week, but I tend to put myself to bed between 9:30 and 10:30 during the week so I am not tired at work.

Dude! Crawl up out of the 17th century and face reality. If I were to try to "make" my wife go to bed, I would have to sleep with one eye open for a week. And with an armored cod piece on.
