A. 50 = 10 log( I / 10^-12) ..... the units are W/m^2
The 10 is because the 50 is DECIbels and the log(--) is defined to be bels.

5 = log( I /10^-12)
10^5 * 10^-12 = I = 10^-7 W/m^2

B. same thing as A only 5 = log( I /10^-12) . I = 10^-3 W/m^2
