just basics - using the internet , microsoft office and windows. does anyone know from experience or is aware of how to go about it. i really dont have the patience to teach the person i have in mind personally lol.

If the person truly wants to learn how to use it, they will figure it out on their own. If they don't, then they won't. Just show them how the mouse works, and how to double-click icons, and they will be good to go.

LOL, you're funny! Really, the best ways may be any one of the following (There are so many resources; it really just depends on the individual and their learning styles, or preferences):

1. Continuing Education Classes for Computers, at a local Community College.

2. Someone with patience and experience (such as a Consultant, who is an IT Professional, or someone that has worked or works in support - that focuses on that paricular area of expertise -- this can be somewhat expensive, but not always - Or, perhaps, a friend or family member that has the patience and is good with teaching.

3. Books, Tutorials (there are many resources available on the Computer and Internet), etc.

Those are my best ideas right off the top of my head. I hope that helps! :-)
