can't enlighten you on what i do not know if you know....

i can't determine if you are qualifed to be a consultant on....? what?

40 - 50K. This will go up over time, but beware consulting is a high burnout rate occupation. Ton of traveling.

Check sites like salary.com, monster.com and hotjobs.com to see what people are offering as wages.

Salary.com and hotjobs.com have a free salary tool (actually - it's the same one on both sites).

Didn't MIT have an employer recruiting day / job placement fair ?
The prospective employers should have been able to answer that question . . .
What did they tell you ?
