Let's see him actually finish an entire season before touting him the second coming of Christ, shall we?

Wow, you need to jump off Romos sack before you get hurt. The only thing that makes Romo good now is the weapons he has. I mean you say in a few years he'll be good. I say in a few years TO and Glenn will be a lot older and thats not gonna help Romo a bit. You saying Romo is smarter than Aikman or Young? Can i buy some pot from you?? A more pure passer than Young?? WOW!! You talking about, I dont know, 5 or 6 SB rings between Aikman and Young, so lets not put Romo in Canton until he plays a full year. You made my head hurt.

Why stop at Young and Aikman? Why not throw in that Romo will turn out better than Marino, Favre, Montana, etc. The guy looked good last year for what...5 games? What happened after that? He choked, and choked big...best of all in the playoffs. Guess what, all along before he became the starter holding for kicks was his ONLY job, and he managed to mess it up when it mattered the most. He didn't nearly deserve to make the pro-bowl based on starting a 1/2 season and while I'm not saying he's bad, he still has a lot more to prove before he's ever mentioned in the same sentence as these hall-of-fame QBs.

Wait a minute, my friend. You're honestly going to compare Tony Romo with Troy Aikman and Steve Young? Two of the All-Time Greats!?! Wow. Let's see Romo lead a team into a playoffs first, big guy.

I don't understand why everyone is actually offended by the question. You clearly ask if he will be better, not if he is. He's not as mobile as Young, but much more so than Troy. His arm is better than Young's but not as good as Aikman's. The weapons arguement is a little silly because its not like Aikman and Young didn't have stocked teams. Between those two teams you had Ricky Watters, Emmitt Smith, Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, Jay Novacek, Brent Young....you get the picture. Romo was better in his first year starting than Aikman, he was also older. Young sat and watched for a couple years too. Romo also too over a dormant Dallas offense and made them dangerous last year. I think he has the potential to be a top 5 qb. As for Hall of Fame and better than those two. Not out of the question, but my guess is more like Phil Simms good. Borderline hall of fame but not in. Its all just guess work at this point.

Dude, stop with all the Romo s@$#! Everyday I log into Y'answers and you have some ridiculous question about Tony. Your comparisons are way out of line....like Romo vs. Aikman vs. Young. And once you said T.Oilet was better than Rice????
Yo, wake up!

Well unless Romo wins three SBs I don't see him being better then Aikman. He may be better statistically but the best QBs of Dallas still belong to Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman.

Absolutly not. tony romo only looks good because he has T.O. Jason Whitten and Terry Glenn. That would be every qb's dream. so romo only looks good because of the talent around him. Troy and Steve have natural talent and can handle a snap for a field goal

No. The first season is NEVER a good indicator of how good a quarterback will be. If he keeps up his performance for another 3-5 years, then come talk to me.
P.S. the man needs to learn how to hold a football. :-) I'm pretty certain Aikman, Young, or even you or I could have caught that ball and had it in place.

If he plays 7 seasons like the last ones and win a ring we will tell.
Troy and Steve were 2 of the best QB in the 90s, and they had a Peyton Manning-Tom Brady type rivalry.
