I know a lot of people probably won't agree with this, but I think it's their parents or the adults who are supposed to take care of them. As a teacher, I see children who could really be something, but because they don't have support at home, for whatever reasons, they find something to occupy their time, whether it be sex, gangs, drugs/alcohol, etc. But if you're looking for a different answer, I think gangs, or trying to be gangster/a is the biggest danger to teenagers.

Honestly....themselves. Look at what poor communities have had to endure. Gangs offer scared teenagers ignorant hope that only brings down our society. Not to mention all these parents who let their kids do what they want, when they want to. This whole load of bullshit about going easy on our children for fear that they may resent us needs to dissapear fast. Meanwhile, rap music only promotes hard partying and/or what kind of crap rappers have put up with in their own lives. Also, people need to stop feeding their kids junk (this goes for the schools as well). In the future, I don't want to walk down the street and see fat people everywhere I go (it shows that people don't care about themselves and reflects onto their children). Drugs and alchohol only are a problem because we tell them they are bad (which they are). But, time after time, kids see rappers and rockstars on tv do the things that they were told aren't allowed. Back when their wasn't a safe water source for everyone, all of Europe drank wine and beer, including kids. It was a naturally controled environment because no one was telling them "hey, you aren't old enough to drink that like us adults".

It is my belief the Bigest real danger is our education system
It is failing us all and the ones who will suffer most are the ones in it right now
And parents who do not prepare their kids for the outside world
No child should ever be living at home after the age of 20
UNLESS he agrees to pay rent and share the cost of the home operation then he is welcomed to stay --
I HOPE My 20 year old son is reading this

According to Fox News, evidently it's the threat of their teachers having sex with them. Seriously, I'd say a few things: 1)driving without enough experience 2)driving under the influence 3)STDs and other complications brought on by sexual activity

Addiction to drugs is the most menacing threat to the youth because the drug dealers are aggressive with their business with little intervention from the government.

The endless coddling by their parents and being told you can "be anything you want to be". Plain fact is, you can't, and instilling that only sets them up for failure.
Couple that with the notion that the world revolves around them and you've got really unhappy people which which can lead directly to your list!

Pocket change. It adds up. Next thing you know you're walking along, a truck jumps the curb, you're wearing your baggy pants, and you need to run. Your pocket change shifts, your pants fall around your ankles, and----SPLAT !
