I had this supposed "Computer Geek" over to try to hook both up... he said he couldn't hook up the scanner cuz it was missing a CD??? And the printer he had NO idea why it wouldn't hook up. He said he "tried eveything"! What's the deal??? Also... I have no sound! I supposedly need to buy speakers for it, but don't know what kind to get. I have an Ultra. Any help out there for any of these questions? Thanks!

What system are you runnning on, XP?
If you have the brand/model numbers of the printer and scanner (and sound card) you possibly be able to download the drivers from the manufacturers' websites. If you have trouble finding, put this info down here and I am sure someone can get you the links.
Once you have the drivers, then we can go from there.

You can download the required software for both your printer and scanner online.
www.google.com is your friend -- just type the model numbers in.

you need the ptr driver and the scanner driver. you can download them from the mfgr's website so they can be properly installed.
