Flies go for your shins and back and have a ferocious bite for such a little critter! They can't however home in on you in the dark like mosquitoes. Roaches, spiders, and ants also deliver quite a bite...and unlike bees, those above don't need to be provoked!

You'd better believe houseflies do! I get bit many, many, many, multiple times daily! We raise rabbits and there are ALWAYS a ton of flies around, we kill what we can with fly swatters and those twisty sticky trap things you hang, but they're still out there. We get at least 15-20 bites each time we go out there!
