Dude,

Ever heard of Martin Briley...he wrote most of the 80s songs that you really love but his only song he sung you might have heard of is " You Ain't Worth the Salt in my Tears."
Then lets move to WASPs first NC17 recording, from the album Live in the Raw, called "Harder Faster" which they dedicated to Tipper Gore.
Lets follow that up with a little know song from Whitesnakes least cared for album, Slip of the Tongue with a song called "Judgement Day".
Topped off with the first album from Ratt's original guitarist, Jake E. Lee, the group is Bad Lands and the song is "Streets Cry Freedom".

There was a band called Grim Reaper. The whole album (it was an album) was good. I remember a song called Thunder Roar. I cannot remember the names of any more songs, but if you can find it you would like it.

Also Slade - Run Run Away. That was popular and NOTHING like Grim Reaper but that song had some good licks in it.

Night Ranger's 'You Can Still Rock in America', 'Don't Tell Me You Love Me' Twisted Sister's 'We're Not Gonna Take It' and Van Halen's 'Panama' are some good songs I can think of.
Also Bon Jovi's 'Living On A Prayer'.
