I have a minor lung operation during my secondary school days & honestly I am rather curious if the moe will be able to gain access to my medical records if I were to choose to keep it a secret. I wld like those who are only sure of the answer to this question to answer....Thanz

I was from the public sector previously. As far as I know, they won't check your medical records, but you will need to go throught a medical checkup, and of course the doctor will ask you about your medical history. If you chosse to keep it a secret, and it's being find out later, you will be dismissed immediately.

I am only county, but I believe that they can give you a very rigorous physical and drug test....however if you lie about your past medical issues, they can fire you if they find that you had a previous condition....But it is unlikely that they can obtain your medical history from a doctor who has pleged to protect your privacy....but then Bush may have changed all of that to "protect" us
