everyone knows that LT should be first, but I dont think there is anyone better than Romo at the 2 position. Romo is on the verge of being the mvp this year, and will slaughter defenses next year. I think Romo would put up around 45tds and might even run for more. Is there anyone that will put up better numbers?

You pick whoever you want on the second position, but you'd be wasting your pick if you pick Romo.

First of all, in fantasy you always pick a running back in the first round, because statistically they will always yield you the most points.

Second of all, if you have first dibs at a quarterback, I'd suggest you pick one of the top 5. Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Carson Palmer, Tom Brady, etc. etc. Romo doesn't even rank in the top 10.

I know you're a Cowboys fan, what with your wet dream about how Romo has a 30% chance or winning the MVP this year, (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Am0To.4A2W2uzxZSYllPRPIjzKIX?qid=20070810131302AATMJUS)
but really, if you want to ruin your fantasy draft this year, go ahead. But if you actually want to win, try doing something more realistic then picking wishful thoughts.

Wow, I'm a diehard Cowboys fan and I wouldn't even draft him in the first 2 rounds. RB's in the first 2 rounds would be ideal. 3rd and 4th round would be the best Qb and Wr available. If Romo's available then pick him up. He's on the verge to being a solid qb but not an mvp player. Good luck!

You need to build a team, I don't think it's wise to take anyone other than Peyton Manning with your first pick as he is far more proven to have the elite type of season that you predict out of Romo. That is if you decide to take a QB with your first pick to begin with, in which Peyton Manning is the only good move under that line of thinking.

Since most owners draft running backs early, unless you get in on the act of drafting one or two running backs early (in the case that Manning isn't there by your pick), you limit the amount of balance that your fantasy team has as the good to elite first stringers are usually gone by the first two rounds.

Example, use 2nd pick on Romo, and you might get a running back starting (instead of backing up) on your team like Jamal Lewis who doesn't figure to have a GREAT season with Cleveland on your 3rd or 4th pick.

The whole idea of drafting is to have good balance. I think it is risky and unwise to jump early on Marvin Harrison, or the Ravens defense in the first two rounds alone let alone the still unproven QB Tony Romo because moves like those will limit you at your depth.

Honestly, I must respectfully disagree. Just from a general stand point, RB's are much more valuable than QB's (except for maybe, possibly P. Manning). Second, Romo is an excellent QB, no question. But the thing is, I doubt he's gonna get over his choke last year. Yeah, he says it's behind him...but in reality it's gonna be a nagging at him at the back of his head.

You have to be brain dead! Romo as a #2 pick in a fantasy draft? You sure do not want to win your fantasy league do you? Romo is, at best, an average QB on a average offensive team. MVP? Like I said, brain dead.

Youre joking right. I dont think there was an accurate statement in that paragraph minus the one about LT goin 1st.

You should draft a top RB in the 1st two rounds then WR, QB, WR. or something like that. Definitely RBs for 2 rounds unless you enjoy overrating manning, then take him in round 2.

You do realise Romo is one of the most overrated players in the league right? Hell I would take Vanderjagt as my kicker before using the 2nd overall pick on Romo. Take Manning or Jackson.

Either LJ or Steven jackson. I bet you could still get romo though with your second pick. Best of luck
