Valedictorians are overrated, in my opinion.

lots of schools are doing away with valedictorians for two reasons. (1) grade inflation, where everyone has at least a 3.9 gpa, or (2) lots of parents are whining (yes, that's the correct word) that the competition is too rough on their poor babies. (if you mean what happened to the one from my graduating class, he got an all expense paid scholarship to MIT, was there two weeks, got drunk, punched a professor and was expelled.)

I believe mine went into youth ministry.
I went to Catholic School.
All my graduation speeches sucked.
The guest speaker, the valedictorian, and the saluditorian all talked about trees. We were the class of 2000, how lame and dumb.

I am pretty sure the Valedictorian at my school(Walden III High School), went crazy. Either that, or is just getting smarter and smarter. Either way, she's all good.

i just graduated. lol. so yeah, our valedictorian is just the valedictorian. he's a cool guy though, he's gonna have a family in a few years i can tell, he's a really nice guy!
