The Thomistic Deity is one of divine impassibility. His God is perfect, lacking nothing. As such, what we think of when we conceive of "Process" is not required for God, but is nonetheless integral to Him..

This is because process is required to carry out God's Plan. God's plan, "The plan for the order of things," preexists within Him and consequently follows a process of predestination.

Therefore, because God's plan requires a governing process to be carried forth,"process" must govern the world (in the sense that I believe the meaning of the word to be in this case).

Process, then, becomes integral to the hierarchy of things which are integral to Our Lord, who is therefore indispensable.
