Its probably nothing to worry about. Even if ghost are real, they can't harm you so you don't need to be worried about that. What you see on tv is for entertainment purposes. Also consider that what you are seeing out of the corner of your eye can be scientifically explained. It could simply be your blind spot coming into focus as you shift your eyes. Trust me, I think you have nothing to worry about. You don't need a psychiatrist. You need to just relax and realize that there are some things in this world that we may not can see or understand but that doesn't mean that we have to fear them.

I grew up in a haunted house. I lived there for 15 years, and I know what I'm talking about. Earthbounds/ghosts may seem scary, but they can't hurt you. Think of a ghost as energy that is trapped here. Other than freaking you out or startling you, they really don't do anything else.

Here's what you can do: When you start feeling nervous, turn on some music, read, watch TV, call a friend, play a video game. Get your mind off of it. Ghosts don't hang around waiting on you to look at them. They kind of fade in and out.

Before you go to sleep, surround yourself in white bubble of light and say, "Nothing can harm me in my bubble of protection." Start daydreaming about something pleasant. You can also call on your guardian angel to protect you. Angels are very fierce and protective.

Bottom line: They can't hurt you. When you start feeling afraid, ask yourself if you are afraid of energy, because that is all a ghost is.

Let me tell you ive had my fair share of scares as well lol but only recently did i discover that those "shadows" that you see from the corner of your eyes are nothing but auras, it usually happens when you are concentrating on something else..you use your peripheral vision without realising, what you see is colours (but they look like shadows) and once you put your attention to that spot you loose sight of it. Thats because from an early age we are taught to look at things in a certain way, your retinas have adjusted so that you see whats infront of you and not beyond that, your peripheral vision helps you see things that are mainly ignored by your normal vision. Next time you are near a baby, stand were it can see you and notice if its really looking at you or around you, if its looking around you for no apparent reason, then what its looking at is the auras around you:) Having that said im not going to deny that there arent any energies around us, but thats all they are energies..and theres nothing to be afraid of, no you dont need a psychologist. Try researching energies, auras, meditation etc and you'll see what i mean:) DONT BE SCARED! DO SOME RESEARCH! GOOD LUCK! :)

Kool, listen to peace_by_moonlight, shes got it exactly right. There's no need to worry. If you're curious you can talk to it when you catch a glimpse of it although honestly if you're 12 you might wait a little longer. What you can do is tell it that you don't want it there and that it has to leave. It will listen to you.

Seeing things like this is common, especially in younger people. In itself there's nothing to worry about. If you were having more concrete images, people talking to you and telling you to do things then you would need to see a psychiatrist. But this, no it's just you being yourself. Your parents may not see these things because they don't want to believe or because those senses were dulled because they were told it was all in their imagination when THEY were young.

If you're still worried send me an email.

oh sweet heart dont worry!! im the same way and im 15 years old!! alot of people have fears thats one of the most common. but with me i had an experience when i was little. when i was a kid i was sitting on my bed and then out of nowhere my bed moved across the room and then back and then right wheit it stopped i saw a figure of a man in front of my door. then he disapeard. but i found out that i wasnt a christin then. and so if you are a christian or believ in god the devil cant hurt you or have any demons near you. so dont worry. that happens alot. just pray before you go to sleep and put a cross near you to make you feel safe. if you want just get a nightlight and youll feel better. when i learnd about god and i did what i told you i felt sooo safe. trust me...itll work :] and by the way you really dont have naything to be afraid of!! what you see is just your mind playing tricks on you. you are sooo scared that your mind wants to see something so it makes every shadow seem scary. dont sweat it. just buy a night light.

I have always seen things "out of the corner of my eye." I pointed them out for others in many occasions. I seldom got any reasonable reaction outside of my family. Unless you are confronted "nose to nose" you shouldn't worry about it. In point of fact, I rather envy my cats. The can look directly at these shades and sometimes I key off their stare by looking across their nose and I'm able to follow the shape "out of the corner of my eye," through all its antics.

I sometimes wonder if the shades think I'm a nosy old man.

Don't worry about seeing any kind of therapist. People's eyes and minds play tricks on them, especially when they are tired. Just relax, turn on a nightlight, and remember shadows can't hurt you. Sweet dreams.

Nope. Just listen to your parents. It's just your imagination. There's no such thing as ghosts.
