Car Design. Ever notice that all of the new cool cars looks like the classic cars (Ford Mustang, Mini Cooper, VW New Beetle, etc.). Obviously you can't say that about a Nissan Maxima or a Hyundai Excel. Too bad they can't bring the tailfins back of the '59 Cadillac or the '57 Chevy BelAir convertible. Those were cool.

For some reason the first thing that comes to mind are those super groovy old tin lunchboxes....second comes the hippie vans! And thirdly comes the retro turntables!

Toys from the mid-80's or early 90's and all of those corny sit-coms like in TGIF on abc. Boy Meets World, Dinosaurs, Family Matters and, Step by Step.

I prefer VINTAGE to RETRO.
Wouldn't you rather have the VINTAGE Star Wars figures from the 70s over the RETRO Star Wars figures that are being sold today?
Or the ORIGINAL Stretch Armstrong doll over the REPRODUCTION Stretch Armstrong doll (with the goofy face)?
I'd pick the VINTAGE items over the RETRO items every time.

I would have to say the very first laptop. It was this big suitcase weird looking thing that weighed like 100 pounds and the screen was really small.
