The answer is that you can never rely on conscience 100% of the time. This is because there are a multiplicity of human faculties (consciense being just one) operating within us at any given moment.
No one can truly separate what role consciense alone plays on our psyches, therefore it is often times indecernible whether it is wrong or not.

your conscience is your animal/basic human wants. sometimes they become your needs, sometimes your conscience just works nice for a week, horrible after a month. sometimes your conscience could lead you to love, its just instinct, cant explain it all that well
