it is that whole nature vs nurture thing.

he was never exposed the black culture, so why would he know anything about it?

if you are serious about this relationship, why don't you share with him the things that you like?

Im not egsactly sure of the question. If u are wondering what black people like to do or what kind of music they listen to. then I dont think u will find a right answer. Beacause black people just like white people like different things. Some may like basketball some may luke football and hate basketball. just like white. To tell u the truth white and black really aren't that different some white people like rap, some like country, some like gospel. Rases are not forced to act the same way or like the same things. I hope i helped you find what you wanted.

They can like whatever they want to like. We are all just people, you know. Not every black person in America likes rap music or the whole scene. Especially if hey grew up without it. Often people who live in large Metro areas think the rest of the country is as strictly defined as they are. Not so.

These kids sound like just regular kids. What's the problem? Why are you trying to force them into your mold?

I guess if you're white that means you should know all about rock'n'roll or country music?

We are products of our environment and your boyfriend grew up immersed in white culture that apparently didn't listen to music that is widely appreciated by blacks in other parts of the country.

How many white dudes do you know that only listen to black music? Probably lots and they probably live in urban or sub-urban places.
