No, not in my opinion. I go to Lake Erie in PA about 4 times a year. It takes around 3 hours for me to get there, because I live in West Virginia. Unless you are an impatient person, than I would say that it is not a long time.

well it depends my family and I take a 9 hour car ride every yearand to me that feels long! If your driving it yourself 3 hours will feel short! If your a kid or someone going along for the ride read a book or talk with the driver! If there is someone else there besides the driver ou could play cards or something like that! 3 hours isn't that long!

a 3 hour drive is not a long time, try 9 hours or 20 hours in the car...both with a dog who whines....now those were long trips.

That's about my limit for a trip without a stop. It's also as far I'll go and return home the same day.
Even so, some good tunes are a requirement for a trip of that length.

depends....if you are drivng and having fun with a friend or friends then it won't seem that long. but if you are by yourself it may seem kinda long. and if you are with a car full of kids it will definitely seem like a long time.

Heck no. Once you get some good music going and you have snacks, it flies by.
