I saw this tropical fish at a store. It is white with colors in the center. Some were blue, some were green, some were yellow, and some were pink. I did not happen to catch the name of this kind of fish. If anyone knows this kind of fish and knows of a web site where i can find out more information about them please let me know. thanks...

They were all white and fat with the colors just in the center and they did not really glow

If they were really small it sounds like neon tetras, normal colored tetras, or fancy guppy females.

If it were big or medium sized, they could be mollys or gouramis. maybe gouramis, but thats a far fetch.

good luck.

I agree, if it was a tank with the fish all different colors like that, I would say it was dyed. I can't think of any fish that has all those colors in the center of the fish. I wouldn't recommend buying them, the color wears off, and it's a very stressful and cruel process the fish goes through.

if not injected there are several genetically modified fish (that yes come in those colors) zebra danios modified (with genes from sea anemones) are called Glowlight danios. try googling that.

That sounds like painted glass fish to me:

See if that page includes a picture of what you saw in the store and also read the truth about these fish

it cant be natural if it comes in that range of colors. Fishes of that color with irridencents wont be able to exist in the wild.

At first i was thinking parrot cichlid, but if it is small.

It must be a painted tetra, AKA white skirts that are injected.
