well, my dad always sharpens the knives we use often. and we don't really care about it, especially when we do it in the kitchen.

my grandma used to sharpen them on the stone stairs that led to a dark room under the kitchen.

I can't say I have had that happen. I guess now your neighbors think you're a serial killer LOL. Ignore them. They obviously watch too many horror films.

Not really....it's when I light the kitchen curtains on fire that really gets em going.. I mean, how else are you supposed to check whether or not the fire alarms are working properly?
