He went right down to get some skincare advice from Hugo. Chavez needs Penn to set him up on a date with Hillary Clinton, yet Hugo cried while Penn instructed him that Hillary already has a female chum.

I can't stand Sean Penn, he is a trader for visiting the 'dictator' Hugo Chavez just like Carter, Jane Fonda and the rest of the zoo animals. He should stay there, infact, he should move there and never come back. He is totally going against Americans and our American soldiers. Michael Savage says the truth about all these Liberals with his famous words to all Liberals. I would say it, but every time I do, it gets deleted.

That there are two sides to every story, and that Penn was looking at the other side.
Remember, by listening to one side of the story we have gotten ourselves into two unwindable wars and are breeding terrorists because of that.
(people should care less what actors do? As long as it doesn't fit your agenda? Yep, that pretty much sums it up.)
(Is Penn a trader for talking to Hugo? I didn't know Penn was a importer. That is news to me. Just goes to show that the marginally inferior can't even get a few words right. And that, that "dumb actor Penn" has more intelligence in his big toe then all you wrongful dodgers. Yes, I am speaking to you. As I said, there are two sides to every story and Penn has the intelligence not to accept word for word what is comfortable, but rather weighs what he hears against what the facts are to support those words. I really wish the stupid ones here would stop accepting what you want to hear and start accepting there are two sides to every story.)
Peace
Jim

Sean Penn is a disgusting ungrateful anti american hyppocrite that deserves to stay in Venezuela and live out what he thinks would be a wonderful life under the dictatorship of Hugo Chavez.

It's inappropriate. I don't believe private American Citizens should take it upon themselves to visit with foreign dignitaries.
That is why we have a State Department and Foreign Service. If Sean Penn had wanted that career, he could have pursued it.
Yeah...this kind of stuff whether it's Penn or Jesse bothers me.

Sean Penn is an uneducated misfit. He has no right representing himself as an American when he goes off on his self serving little tangents.
He's also a half-assed actor with very little depth, therfore I would never go see his movies, because of it !

Who cares? He is free to go wherever he wants --- it does not mean people will pay attention or care. Aren't there more important issues today than where Sean Penn travels to?

Who really cares?
Shawn Penn is a has-been trying to drum up controversy to get back in the spotlight, and comments like this is exactly what he needs to do so.
That is how showbiz works. You are "it" for a while, then when you aren't, you have to do something silly to get back into the spotlight. Your ratings go back up, and when they start falling down again you apologize, and they zing back up. typical show biz hoopla!
