I have started bleeding a little bit and have had a few stomach pains, i was wondering if the fact i am on medications at the moment would contribute to having a miscarriage. Please help me out. I am rather worried.

Bright red bleeding with cramping usually means you are miscarrying. 50% of women who have red bleeding in the first trimester will have a miscarriage.

Hi congratulations. i have 3 children and maybe two on the way . I had some heavy bleeding with my last one at 9 weeks, I was very worried but everything turned out OK.
sometimes when the placenta is connecting to ur uterus can cause mild bleeding which was the case of the first two. if your blood is really red then its best you get checked out by your doctor. If it is a browny colour and its mild then from my experience, its the placenta attaching itself .
Try not to stress about it and make yourself worse, just remember if you miscarry its not your fault at all. Chin up ;)

Well, before I really answer... I need to ask:

How far along are you and what medication are you taking?

Sometimes at the beginning of pregnancy, you will bleed a little... not as much as you do during a period though... will be watching for a reply... :)

if you are worried about the baby because of a medication you are on, I would advise going to the ER tonight. Let them know what medication you are on and what is going on. I hope everything goes okay for you. They might change the medication to something that won't interact with the pregnancy as well.

you must go see a doctor! if you are really early on then this may be ok as you can get implantation bleeding and cramping, i have had cramping through out my whole pregnancy but no bleeding and they say if i ever get bleeding go see doc asap. so please do so
