Depends on many things like how far along you were, if you had a natural miscarriage or D&C, how damaged you are emotionally by it, etc.

I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks, embryo had stopped growing at 5 weeks. I miscarried naturally, and my doctor said there was no reason to wait to conceive again. I ovulated RIGHT AWAY, but was surprised that emotionally I wasn't ready. It took me four months after the initial conception to feel ready again, and I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant

Ask your doctor; he/she will have better information about YOUR situation than any of us.

Good luck!

We had a first trimester and started trying again the following month. It seems to be generally recommended that you wait at least one full cycle so that your body can normalize with regards to patterns, hormone levels, etc. but our doc at the fertility clinic told us that there was no physical harm in starting whenever we wanted. My acupuncturist, on the other hand, looks at it from a lot of energy and body balance perspectives and would have preferred I wait longer, but also understood that we felt ready to try again. Make sure that both your physical health and emotional health are prepared.
I'm sorry for your loss. Mine was in May. It's not something one gets over but like most tragedies you will figure out how to place it in your life.

The answers vary. Some Dr's say you can try immediatly and others say wait 1-2 cycles.(if you weren't far along). Mine told me to wait 1-2 cycles for timing reasons so that I would be able to date the pregnancy better. However, he didn't give me any medical reason not to start trying right away. I would ask your Dr.
