The graph is a parabola which is concave up (like a U) and has Its axis of symmetry is x= -2. the vertex is at (-2,-1). Plug in a few values for x and you can easily sketch the graph. The x - intercepts are(-3,0) and (-1,0). The y-intercept is (0,3).

no ones gonna be able to show you the graph of the function, without the graph (this is a text forum),... how can i see the vertex without the graph?
