Not My President

2007-08-15 14:03:47 · answer #1 · answered by Agent 99 3 · 9 3

Aside from resembling a Japanese Snow Monkey, Bush managed to alienate so many people in his own Republican Party.

And, after 9.11, when he promised the NYC Firemen that he would get Osama bin Laden, he had the goodwill and support of all Americans. He took that goodwill and support and threw it out the proverbial window by never seriously going after Osama bin Laden and the chief Afghan mullah that supported him.

Instead, Bush did some carpet bombing(reckless and useless) in Afghanistan, all the while he was 'jonesing' for an invasion of Iraq. He lied to us about WMD and that Iraq had something to do with 9.11 (many ignorant Americans, who get their 'newzz' from righwing Bush-supporting radio and cable tv 'newzz', believed him and his cronies). And, the Democrats, except for a few, supported him in this crazed neo-patriotic flag-wearing post 9.11 era.

Innocent deaths mean nothing to Bush. This is all the more horrific because he has publically claimed to be a "born-again" Christian and that he speaks with his "heavenly father", instead of his earthly father, for advise.

And his internal policies for America are for all practical purposes non-existant. He's privatized so much to ensure his big-business supporters are happy. Our infrastructures are failing along with our social structures.

He's quickly losing a lot of his supporters. Now that the House has voted to pull troops out of Iraq. He convinced most of the Republicans to stay with him until the next report in November from the new commander in charge in Iraq.

So I'm waiting for November, I think it will be a show down, if things aren't better in Iraq a lot more of his supporters will jump ship.

I think he made a lot of rash and bad decisions. I think he sent us into a war that we didin't belong in and now can't get us out of. I think he made a mistake in letting Scooter Libby go free. I think he is human, I think he does have feelings. I am a democrat, but I'm not going to call him a spawn of the devil, but I really and truly don't agree with his politics. I think he is losing ground quicker than he can find a steady place, and even republicans are starting to question his politics, whiuch turns me even more against him. He really wasn't cut out for the White House and No Child Left Behind really has to BE Left Behind

GW BUSH IS BY FAR THE VERY WORST PRESIDENT IN MY LIFETIME OF ALMOST SEVEN DECADES. HIS CORRUPT ADMINISTRATION OF GREEDY AND/OR POWER-HUNGRY OFFICIALS IS FAR WORSE THAN NIXON'S. AT LEAST NIXON HAD AN INTELLECT UNLIKE GW BUSH AND WAS OPEN TO NEW IDEAS LIKE THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY AND THE OPENING TO "RED CHINA." SHAME ON AMERICA FOR NOT WAKING UP SOONER AND SHAME ON THE DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP OF CONGRESS IN NOT PUTTING IMPEACHMENT ON THE TABLE.

WHAT A SAD LEGACY FOR THE FUTURE...A BROKE, DUMBED DOWN, UNHEALTHY AMERICAN PUBLIC DIVIDED BETWEEN RICH AND THE REST OF US POOR OR TRYING TO CLING TO MIDDLE CLASS STATUS. THIS COUNTRY IS IN VERY VERY SAD SHAPE....UNFORTUNATELY FOR AMERICA WAS THE WORLD'S LAST BEST HOPE.

I voted for him both times and would vote for him a 3rd time if I could. He has been a steadfast leader in the war on terror. Hes upheld the rights for the unborn, opposed the gay agenda, and helped keep America terror-free by going on the offense. He also puts up with a constant media onslaught of people that hate him and accuse him of all kinds of vile things.

He really hasnt been very great at balancing the budget or reigning in govt spending however and places like conservative talk radio have been very vocal about that. But he has done everything he could to ensure the economy keeps rolling along like it has and increased revenues will help keep the budget manageable.

A PETITION
for
The Impeachment of George W. Bush
TO THE CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES
WHEREAS George W. Bush essentially murdered 6000* of his own countrymen, by allowing terrorists, in the face of specific intelligence and warnings by domestic and foreign agents, to highjack jumbo jets and use them as bombs against the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and,
WHEREAS George Bush thereby caused damage in the millions of dollars, first from the initial incident and subsequent cascade of consequences which fell primarily on the shoulders of working class people, while he bailed out his rich cronies, and,
WHEREAS George W. Bush then perpetrated an illegal war against the country of Afghanistan, killing thousands of innocent civilians, women and children, mostly from starvation and exposure, in a pretext of “making war against terrorism”, which was, in reality, a clandestine plot to install a puppet government and begin to extract the oil and heroin resources of the region, and,
WHEREAS George W. Bush has surreptitiously used the “terrorist” issue to suspend the Constitution of the United States, mainly through the USA PATRIOT Act, suspending the rights of habeas corpus, legal representation and lawyer-client privilege while increasing the use of eavesdropping, snooping and electronic surveillance furthering the draconian restrictions to personal freedoms characteristic of this illegal regime, and,
WHEREAS George W. Bush has telegraphed his intention to withdraw from the family of man and the civilized global society by withdrawing from the ABM Treaty, the Kyoto Protocol and the World Court, preferring to pursue a course of world and space domination,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the People, Undersigned, being citizens of the United States and registered voters in the Counties and States so indicated, HEREBY Demand that the Congress of the United States begin immediate impeachment proceedings against said George W. Bush, pretender to the office of the President of the United States, and further demand they vigorously pursue all civil and criminal penalties to each and every member of this administration, agency employees, and members of the congress or intelligence apparatus who willingly and with malice aforethought participated in these heinous crimes.
*Footnote 1. These are official U.S. numbers. The death-toll at the World Trade Center was placed at 6,700 in September, 2001. The figures were used liberally by pundits and politicians alike to fuel the hunt for Osama bin Laden and the U.S. war on Afghanistan. The initial civilian death- toll from U.S. bombing in Afghanistan was 20 to 37. The U.S. death-toll was continually revised downward while world health officials elevated the Afghani casualties. The numbers became equal around June 2002. The present numbers are: U.S. deaths 2,919; Afghani deaths 3,215. So, George Bush’s body count remains nearly constant...the victims’ identities have changed. (for an excellent discussion, see Marc Herold at www.cursor.org/stories/heroldon911.htm)
*Footnote 2. Figures for Afghani deaths are from U.S. bombing alone. They do not include the thousand who died from starvation and exposure as a result of U.S. closure of relief supply routes from Azerbijan and Pakistan.

He's an @ss. He's one of the reasons so many people hate America. I don't want to be associated with him.
