The morals and mores are attitudes ingrained into people's thoughts and deeds. They are distinctly attached to specific cultures. To have a moral background you and those who educate you would have to ground you in the morals and mores of the culture in which you live. In some Asian cultures a woman must bear a healthy child before she may marry. In most western countries a woman is vilified for bearing a child out of wedlock and therefore doesn't--by one method or another. The women in both cultures are truly moral and following the mores of their culture.

People who are raised in a family full of HONEST hard working people who do not con or steal from others in order to get ahead. Honest being the key word here. Other morals come in to play, but can not be used in todays society, like marriage before sex, same sex relationships, and plane out sticking to one partner through life.

The Eastern people have a concept of 'dharma' which is what you likely mean by "moral background". The premise of dharma is that there is "natural law' behind creation, and when you are in harmony with dharma, your life runs much more smoothly. part of the reason so many people are miserable these days , is that they have no idea of dharma. i suggest you make a study of the concept of dharma, and there you will find your answer.
