I usually just try to understand what they mean, but I let them know what I think. I don't push the topic because I don't like arguing.

It depends on the argument 's topic. If I know a subject quite well or versed in it , I will argue my point with facts, logic, and calmness so the person will not be intimidated by the tone of voice I use but key in on the words I have spoken. If I am not as well-versed in the topic I am even more careful about how I speak and what I speak and may be I will learn something new and fascinating about the topic and the person as well. It is a fool that keeps hammering away at a point especially if the audience is unwilling to face facts for it is like beating a dead horse. I will not as well give in to agree to disagree because I will not compromise when I know I am right about something nor patronize the person or just to make somebody feel good and acquiesce or compromise my position. I feel this way you do yourself and the other person a disservice because the person you acquiesced to is wrong then they are still in error and you failed to set the record straight and if they are right and you acquiesce just to let them win the argument, the person did not really win anything but a surrender, the point might need to be discussed further for clarification's sake for both parties and you might learn something new and be more enlightened on a subject you did not know about , much about or knew a lot about but a kernel of knowledge was still obtained to increase your scope on the subject. It is also a good measure to be straightforward and honest as well and acquiescing just to make someone else happy is a false happiness and a shallow victory.

No, truthfully we ladies are in simple terms sex objects for your viewing pleasure! I downloaded Pando despite the fact that I don't have any earthly thought what it is! I'm no longer an awfully technical woman so hopefully you could walk me by means of it.

Oh, I hate that! I'm always the person who just gives up and tells the other person they're right b/c they're too ignorant to realize that two people can both be right when it comes to an opinion... so annoying.

Often. What's the point of taking it that far. Just agree to disagree and move on.

I don't get into many arguments, but every one has ended in a fight. I'm stubborn, and I know they'd just be telling me what I wanted to hear.
So I just kick their asss. And whether or not they think i'm wrong, I still kicked their asss.
