Why do SOME of you say so many negative things about black women? Now I know as a white guy, white people have said negative things about everybody. I'm asking a series of these questions because, I asked my fiance' who is black but I don't feel like I'm getting the full scope of the issue. I have date black women my whole life and have found the black women in my cirlce to be hard working, educated, honest, reliable, SEXY AS HELL, and kind. Now I'm not gonna lie and say I have not met some black women that have met the stereotype, I have; however I know a lot of white women who also fit that stereotype, I know latino women who fit that stereotype. It just seems I don't know crazy that some black men say so many negative things about black women, but at the same time have a white woman on thier are, get mad when they see my fiance' (who black) on my arm, and when they get into some kind of trouble the first person they usually call to get them out is . . . .a black woman.

deleted account: no one is denying you of your beloved, however, as a white man even I can see the disparity in loyalty of the black man and woman. I see black women giving their all to black men and black men taking and not giving back. I honestly think you are so upset because you know what I say is true. You may have a "beautiful black man" that does not negate the fact that their is an overabudance of black men disrespecting black women and I am simply asking black men. . . .why? If you do not want to know the answer they stay away from this question, it's very simple. Don't get upset because you don't want to hear or see the truth from someone I'm guessing you see as . . . the enemy. I'm sorry if you do see me that way because I don't see you that way.

It's sad.........but your so right.....And we (black women) bring them into the world, but some still treat us like crap.....And when we come face to face some seem as if it's the 1st time their meeting us and prior they had only seen us in the National Geographic Magazine.

All I wanna know is what did I (or any other black woman) do to you, for me to be treated in such a manner???

On the flipside, sista's who are with white men could give a rats *** who their being seen by.....they know as long as he treats you good, you have nothing to worry about. And I totally respect that!

You can say whatever you want but some brotha's are just dead wrong! (yes, i said it)

I'm sure you don't care about this answer since this question is 9 years old, but I am a black 18 year old, and though I don't group entire genders or races into one group, I have to admit that my high school was full of children who met almost every black stereotype, both men and women. The guys at my school didn't respect the women and the women didn't seem to respect themselves either. All the guys wanted was sex, and they were going to say anything to a girl to get it. Most of the girls (not all), had very unattractive personalities. That's why the guys didn't bother with relationships and treated the females like dirt. They girls just allowed them to do it

I understand what you mean. Black American women need to start putting Black American women and their happiness first, before that of their male counterparts. These women deserve to be treated with respect, love and dignity, NOT AS HOS AND B!TCHES. If that means finding men with these qualities outside their ethnicity and/or race, then so be it. I think they are starting to realize that... because I see a lot of black women with nonblack men.

I'm a white woman so -- you didn't ask me! But, I have to agree that black women are Highly Underrated and I absolutely Can Not Imagine what they are thinking when black men overlook their beautiful sisters and go sniffing around my race.

damn, I could have sworn I answered this already.

Like I was saying. I remember when girls were running around singing "I dont want know scrub" and "can you pay my bills." Now there as they are singing about straight up cheating and creeping.

I think a lot of the animosity between brothers and sisters is driven by the messages in the media. Brothers callin sisters btches and hos. Women talkin about all the want is money, ect.
