...certain dog breeds such as Pitbulls, Rottweilers, etc. being banned from certain cities/towns? Do you agree/Disagree - why/why not?

I think certain people should be banned from certain towns/cities. The dogs, in themselves, are not vicious. However, in the hands of the wrong owner, or a stupid owner, they can be dangerous.
I understand the ordinances, but I think they're approaching it from the wrong view point.

Disagree, people make dogs vicious, they aren't born that way. Banning certain breeds won't end dog attacks, a person can make a poodle, or Labrador vicious. I have a Rottweiler who loves people, and I would rather move then get rid of her because of a silly law like that!

agree with the ban!!those dogs are to unstable to be with humans.in my personal opinion local governments should make the owners to carry some sort of insurance.
